Check-in is from 2:00 PM for all reservations made directly through our websites. For all other booking channels, check-in is from 3:00 PM. Check-out is available for everyone until 11:00 AM.

The hotel reception is open 24/7, which means that there will always be someone there to welcome you, regardless of your time of arrival.

Yes, certainly! Small dogs (up to knee height) are very welcome in our hotel. A maximum of one dog per room is allowed, and a surcharge of €20 per dog, per night applies.

Dogs are welcome in the following room types:

• Accessible room
• Junior Suite with balcony
• Suite with balcony

Are you traveling with a certified assistance dog? Then it is of course welcome everywhere in our hotel, and no surcharge applies.

To ensure that a suitable room is available, we ask you to contact the hotel by phone in advance.

At the reception we accept the following payment methods: pin (contactless) or by credit card. Payment with cash is not possible.

Yes, luggage storage is available free of charge if you wish to leave your luggage at the hotel before check-in or after check-out.

Our hotel provides access to all public areas and offers rooms suitable for guests with disabilities. These rooms are designed with accessibility and comfort in mind.

The room features a wooden floor and provides ample space for mobility. However, please note that the entrance door is not wider than standard, and the beds are not elevated.

The bathroom in these rooms is adapted for additional convenience. It is equipped with a wider sliding door for easier access.

The total price of the reservation consists of the accommodation costs, service charge, and tourist tax. The service charge is €3.50 per person per night. The tourist tax is determined by the municipality and varies per hotel.

To guarantee your reservation before arrival, the amount on your credit card will be authorized at noon on the day before your arrival. At check-in you can pay with another payment card, the authorization taken earlier will be cancelled.

You can change or cancel your reservation by contacting the booking channel where you made your reservation. Please check your personal reservation confirmation for the specific cancellation policy.

The bar is open daily from 12:00 to 00:00.

Yes it is certainly possible to use breakfast. Please contact the hotel by phone to adjust your reservation for this purpose.

The Bergerhout roundabout is temporarily closed due to roadworks. You can still reach our hotel, although you may have to follow a short diversion along the way. This depends on the direction you are coming from.

By car
Are you coming from the direction of the roundabout? Then follow the diversion signs. Check your route in your navigation app before departure.

By public transport
From Alkmaar station, you can walk to our hotel in about 8 minutes. Are you travelling by bus? During the works, the Bergerhout stop, directly in front of the hotel, is temporarily out of service. Check which stop is best for you to use in your public transport journey planner before departure.

Upon arrival, you can use our paid parking. If there is no availability in our own parking lot, we will direct you to one of the nearby parking areas.

Amrâth Hotel Alkmaar is easily accessible by public transportation. Alkmaar train station is an 8-minute walk from the hotel and 2 minutes by car.

Amrâth Hotel Alkmaar has its own limited parking area with 26 parking spaces and 2 parking spaces with electric charging stations. The parking area is located next to the hotel, and parking is available for a fee of €21.50 per night.

Parking cannot be reserved in advance; as a city hotel, we have a limited number of parking spaces. Please ask at check-in about availability and the many options for (paid) parking within walking distance.

Yes, certainly! Amrâth Hotel Alkmaar is ideal for group bookings starting from 10 rooms, for example for company outings, sports teams, family weekends, and other gatherings. Thanks to our central location, you stay right in the bustling center of Alkmaar.

Our hotel only serves breakfast, but we are happy to advise you on good restaurants in the immediate vicinity for a group dinner.
